Timeless Elegance, Distinctive Details

Founded in Paris in 2019 by Capucine Martin, MARTIN MARTIN began with the idea of creating a timeless and iconic jacket that could be worn from day to night. The brand offers a sense of luxury while keeping elegance accessible, bringing distinctive signature details—most notably its buttons—to clean, simple silhouettes. What began with jackets has since expanded to dresses, pants, coats and more, creating an elegant and feminine wardrobe designed to be worn with ease.

The Signature Gold Shell Button

One of MARTIN MARTIN’s most recognizable details is its gold shell button. As a child, Capucine spent much of her time in her grandmother’s atelier, where she developed an eye for transforming classic clothing with feathers, rhinestones, jewelry and other decorative touches, adding personality and a sense of occasion to otherwise understated pieces.
The shell buttons on the last jacket her grandmother gave her became a particularly meaningful motif for Capucine. Today, the shell has become one of the brand’s signatures, appearing throughout MARTIN MARTIN’s collections.

A Creative Vision Shaped by Diverse Experiences

At 18, Capucine Martin moved to London, where she first learned to sew by creating costumes for the city’s nightlife scene. She later built her experience in the fashion industry before venturing into hospitality in 2015 with the launch of the restaurant Cocotte.
After working across these different worlds, Capucine returned to Paris feeling, in her own words, “stronger, more operational and more creative,” and founded MARTIN MARTIN in 2019. Her experiences beyond fashion, together with the decorative sensibility that had surrounded her since childhood, shape the distinctive balance at the heart of MARTIN MARTIN: classic, yet always with an unexpected twist.

Clothes Made to Last, with a More Responsible Approach

MARTIN MARTIN is committed to creating clothes designed to be worn and enjoyed for years. Working closely with its partner ateliers in France, the brand keeps production as close as possible to actual demand, producing only the quantities needed and restocking during the season when demand requires it, helping to avoid overproduction.
The brand also gives new life to fabric offcuts through dedicated collections. By combining timeless design with a considered approach to production, MARTIN MARTIN contributes to a more responsible fashion model while supporting French craftsmanship.
