Arron: The Leather Workshop at the Heart of Tuscany's Fine Craftsmanship

Founded in 1976 in Arezzo, Tuscany, Cinturificio Zarroni was the brainchild of Alfredo Zarroni and his wife, Susanna Falcinelli. Their venture combined remarkable artisanal skill with an entrepreneurial spirit. Tuscany is globally renowned as the cradle of premium leather, supplying top fashion houses with the finest materials. Within this region, the company’s men’s belts quickly earned the trust of prestigious brands, laying the foundation for a legacy built on enduring craftsmanship.

The Birth of Arron

In 1993, the spirit of artisanship and family management continued as the brand evolved into Arron, embracing new horizons while reinforcing its commitment to tradition and "Made in Italy" excellence. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, blending heritage with innovation.

By 1995, their eldest daughter, Tamara Zarroni, joined the leadership team, followed in 2012 by their youngest daughter, Eleonora. Strengthened by full family involvement, Arron infused fresh perspectives and creativity while continuing to honor its commitment to craftsmanship and consistently high quality.

Expanding into Handbags

In 2013, Arron broadened its product range by launching an authentic Italian handbag collection. This expansion enabled active participation in international trade fairs, opening doors to new markets and enhancing brand presence through innovative design and superior quality.

Craftsmanship Meets Modernity

Arron's products embody the union of traditional Tuscan craftsmanship and contemporary design. All items are crafted in-house at their Arezzo factory, from initial design to final production. By using a short supply chain, they invigorate the local economy and minimize environmental impact. Materials are carefully sourced from Italy, with a preference for Tuscan leather — resulting in products that possess authenticity, durability, and timeless elegance.

Handbags with Soul

Each Arron handbag is a unique creation born of refined technique and modern technology. They’re crafted for those who seek functionality, individuality, and longevity.

Commitment to Sustainability and Ethics

Arron places sustainability and ethical production at the core of its brand philosophy. The company champions eco-conscious manufacturing and fosters a workplace that is peaceful and family-oriented.

All leather used is a by-product of the food industry — animals are never raised or slaughtered for their hides. Without tanning, millions of tons of raw hides would become waste, creating serious environmental burdens. Leather’s durability is one of its greatest virtues: a well-made piece can last decades, minimizing the need for frequent replacement and reducing overall impact.

Their leather is sourced from certified Tuscan tanneries that respect the highest environmental standards — minimizing water usage, improving wastewater treatment, and limiting chemicals in the tanning process.

Smart Resource Use

Arron also embraces made-to-order production to minimize inventory, waste, and surplus. Lining materials include recycled cotton, and leftover leather is repurposed into small items like key holders and card cases.
